Review of Revenge of the Nerds (1984) by Jordan T — 10 Aug 2008
In no way is this deserving of its "classic" status, but it's from the 80s so people are all for it. Not funny, in fact it's not much of anything. However, I learned 2 things. 1) Homosexuals are classified as "nerds," and 2) All white people are supposed to be scared of large groups of black guys.
Ted McGinley sucked as "Cousin Roger" on "Happy Days" and he sucked in this too. James Cromwell has at least moved onto much better things, but everyone else has faded into obscurity as they should've.
Ooh almost forgot about a very young looking John Goodman; wow. Overall, this isn't worth seeing unless you were born before or shortly after it was released. I can see a remake faring A LOT better with someone such as MCLOVIN!
