Revenge of the Nerds, the 1980s cult classic, is a film if view today, would be quite questionable. The film story about a group of nerds who are freshman in college, who get kick out of dorm when the jocks accidently burn down there's.

Now the nerds form there own fraternity, setting their sights on the Greek council. By doing so, they need to beat the jocks at there own game. Along the way, the jocks and nerds go war with each other, playing pranks, and seeking revenge.

For when the film was made, it needs to have some leniency. Sure, it stereotypes the heck out of nerds and jocks (80s version), has a questionable sex scene, live video of pornography, non disciplinary action for a burning down a dormitory by jocks, but it for what it is, is mildly funny.

It not politically correct by any stretch of the imagination, but was made in a different era. The film has a good opening song, that works brilliantly. The set of characters are fairly comically, and are define well in the movie portray of social cliques.

The plot, although quite ridiculous, works all right for what it suppose to be. At towards the end, while the jocks and nerds competing at each other, the film has it famous musical number, thats a bit cool to watch.

As for it faults, it does not quite make me a fan of this movie, as it clearly shows in some ways of it's stupidly style. Revenge of the Nerds is the kind of movie you may or may not like, depending on what angle you are going to perceive it at.
