Review of Revenge (2017) by Nitpicker . — 22 May 2018
A woman has an affair with a dangerous criminal and then is surprised when something bad happens to her.
What I liked.
- The eagle branding scene.
- The make-up effects.
- The setting.
Nitpicks.
- The fall would have killed her.
- The impalement would have killed her.
- The blood loss would have killed her.
- Peyote makes you Superman.
- She has hunting instincts somehow.
- There should be a hole straight though her stomach to back.
- How could you find anyone even with that pair of binoculars?
- No one is likeable.
- I'm shocked at the high rating.
Final Thoughts.
"Women always have to put up a fight.".
This quote bothers me because I know they added it on at the end to win over the female viewer. Everyone who keeps saying "feminist film" forgets that she's fully aware of who these people are. She's not innocent. She's knowingly having an affair with a dangerous man who associates with dangerous men. How can that end any other way but bad? Is she an idiot?
This is a "woman getting thrown off a cliff film because associating with criminals" masquerading as a "feminist rape revenge film".
