A feminist movie? I call bullshit. It is just more of the same old tired rape and revenge genre. If a movie such as this can be labelled "feminist" just because the director is a woman and says it is feminist, then I guess all art can be labelled anything so long as you have the right explanation for it. A naked man-butt doesn't "subvert the male gaze". Had a male director shown off the actress in such a scantily clad attire within this genre, he would be called a misogynist and a sexist. But when a woman does it, it is somehow feminist? Double standards, anyone?
The movie is a piece of crap. Just like all other entries in the genre.
