Review of Revenge (2017) by Mark M — 03 Aug 2018
Revenge is mine, says Matilda Lutz. In a sexist environment where the woman is seen only as an object. The absence of a no in no way means a yes. The film's aspect is more concerned with the core of revenge than with the sexual condition around the character.
Point to the screenwriter and director Coralie Fargeat who narrates through strong, crude scenes, without concern in shocking the public. Have a strong stomach to watch it. The scenery also deserves to be highlighted, the desert of Morocco.
