Another tour de force performance by one of the great actors in thr past 20 years, Joaquin Phoenix. The story is heart-wrenching philosophical dilemma. The ending is true to its subject matter. Even the usually hammy Vince Vaughn displays some real acting ability here.
One I saw in the theater and still haven't forgotten.
