Review of Return to Oz (1985) by Michelle K — 12 Jan 2008
I remember this movie frightening the pants off me when I was kid, and it has yet to let me down even as an adult. The movie follows the story of Dorthy pretty accurately, well from the books anyway. Fairuza Balk plays an excellent Dorthy and Jean Marsh once again plays a terrifying villain.
I'm also a sucker for puppetry such as Jim Henson and this movie has plenty of it to go around.
