This is a kid's movie. The SCARIEST kid's movie EVER. Disney released this as the sequel to the Wizard of Oz in the mid 80s. The fact no one I've ever met has seen this movie is a testament to how unpopular it was.
It wasn't what adults who'd grown up with the Judy Garland film wanted, and it scared the shit out of their kids. I still remember turning away from the screen during one scene in particular when I was little.
You'll know which one when you see it. So if you're one of those people that was all about Labyrinth, The Neverending Story or The Dark Crystal when you growing up, then go watch this now. Your only regret will be not having seen it when you were little.
