Review of Return to Oz (1985) by Ian M — 08 Apr 2010
Ever wanted to scare a child to death? Return to Oz begins in a creaky, underlit sanitarium where kids are given electroshock therapy. Later on there is a princess who has a room full of glass cabinets with severed human heads, which in one scene open their eyes and start screaming in unison.
There is constant breathy moaning, and eyes coming out of stone walls, and lines like "You'll be sorry for treating me like this! I'm a terrible fierce person!" Not to mention the Wheelers.
.. I first saw it when I was 6, haven't really been the same since.
