Review of Return to Oz (1985) by Jacob E — 13 Aug 2011
From the get-go "Return to Oz" is infinitely more darker in tone and drab than the bright and charming original. Even though the bar was set pretty high, the film is less of a sequel and more an adaption of the second and third Oz books, "Return" should be judged as its own film, yet it is still undeniably less entertaining.
