Review of Return to Never Land (2002) by Clara I — 21 Jun 2008
Really well done. My kids loved it - watched it twice yesterday. I loved that it had a Disney heroine who wasn't a princess. The Lost Girl spitting into her hand to shake hands with the Lost Boys: what a great counterpoint to the usual Disney fluff of ballgowns, etc.
The flight of Captain Hook's ship through London was delightlfully well done, particularly when you think of it as an attacking ship, ala the WWII air raids for the time period in which it's set.
