Review of Return to House on Haunted Hill (2007) by George S — 05 Jun 2008

I'm embarrassed to say that I'm a fan of the first film (even though it's a remake). The set design in "Return" is just as beautiful as the "first" (though with better direction it could have been utilized much more effectively) with some truly cool monster scares and gross outs.

However the acting is as about as good as a Porno, and the dialog is so atrocious it's as if it were written by a 10 year old with down syndrome. But people, we are talking about a direct to DVD/ Blu-Ray sequel, are you really expecting a fantastic film? Quick cuts don't make things scarier!
