Sequel to "House On Haunted Hill" which released in 1999! It is'nt a bad movie for a direct-to-video offering! it has plenty of scares and the special effects are pretty much outstanding! the plot of the movie goes like this ~ "The editor of a fashion magazine Ariel Wolfe receives many calls from her sister Sara, but she does not return.

When Sara is found dead, apparently after committing suicide, Ariel goes to her apartment with her friend and photographer Paul. She meets Professor Richard, who is seeking Sara's journal to find a lead to the statue of the evil god Baphomet for a museum.

Later, Ariel and Paul are kidnapped by the gang of the treasure hunter Desmond, who intends to find and sell the statue to a private collector for five million dollars. They go to the house, where they meet Richard, his assistant Kyle and the student Michelle, but the criminals dominate the group.

However, the house suddenly closes all the exits and they find trapped inside with vision of ghosts that are reliving their final moments in the place they died!" I think the plot was pretty decent.

. the strength of the movie is in the plot.. and the acting was somewhat good as well(Amanda Righetti did extremely well.. the same hot chick from the 2009's "Friday the 13th" )! An incredibly enjoyable sequel that doesn't really have all that much wrong with it at all and comes off as being highly entertaining! the thing I did'nt like was.

. by the time it starts getting really good, the movie finishes and is over, and it doesn't even last an hour and a half.. too short!
