Review of Return of the Seven (1966) by J K — 12 Jun 2010
Not nearly as good as the first Magnificent Seven, maybe it had to do with the fact that the sequel did not include Steve McQueen, Charles Bronson, James Coburn, Robert Vaughn and Eli Wallach. It does feature Warren Oates (The Wild Bunch) but his character is so subdued that I think it detracts for the point of him being there.
Worth one viewing if you're curious or just like Yul Brynner. Just know he didn't carry the first film. The actors who don't appear in the sequel did.
