Review of Return of the Living Dead: Rave to the Grave (2005) by Rob W — 05 Oct 2007
Terrible, but I actually kind of enjoyed it when I was really drunk. The actors have trouble hiding their Eastern European accents and the two actors playing government agents jump between European accents between almost every scene.
That, along with the horrible dialogue are what make this watchable. The first film contained out-dated punk rockers, and this one has out-dated Ravers so I wondered what out-dated sub-culture of music will be next.
I hope maybe a group of John Cage-esque avant garde musicians vs. Zombies. anyway, the rave scene is pretty good because it's totally awesome to see all the ravers being eaten. there could have been some allegory for the evils of drugs in this scene, but the directors are way to inept to pull that off.
I wouldn't watch this movie without a bottle of whiskey or something hard because beer might not do the trick with this late-night time-waster.
