Review of Return of the Living Dead Part II (1988) by Katie L — 16 Mar 2009
Almost as much fun as the first...this ridiculous sequel even employs the main actors from the first film..namely James Karen and Thom Mathews, but as different characters?? you don't need to see the first ROTLD to enjoy this one either.
..awesome zombie and gore effects...non-stop slapstick humour...fast paced with great atmosphere...but unfortunately a very upsetting lack of Linnea Quigley...this one gets a bad rep for its "childish humour", but it's nice to see a zombie film that dosen't take itself too seriously for once.
.fun to watch with a bunch of friends and even more beer..4 stars because james karen's whining gets really annoying after awhile..and the lack of Linnea...
