Review of Return of the Living Dead Part II (1988) by Jake N Cole B — 05 May 2011
My favorite zombie movie of all time - completely and utterly goofy in an unapologetic and undeniably fun way. To be sure, the original movie is a modern classic, and definitely a far better film than this one technically, but if you're in for 90 minutes of unabashed cheesy goodness, look no further.
It's also one of the only zombie films I've seen with a sunny ending! Only one caveat - the DVD release and its extremely crappy score, which for some reason is different from the music on the VHS release.
Crapola.
