I could write a whole book on movies I think are overrated. I always cringe when I see an immature movie (such as Return of The Jedi) get audience acclaim. I mean seriously, Ewoks?!?! I hate those things.
The direction is indifferent, the script is scatter shot, the characters are lifeless with no emotion. The story sucks because it's so freaking predictable. Don't let anyone tell you that this is a classic.
It's just a crowd pleaser at the end of the day.
