Review of Return of the Jedi (1983) by Mark S — 05 Jan 2016
"Jedi" gives us a satisfying, if flawed, conclusion to the trilogy. The reuse of the Death Star is tired by now, and the assortment of alien creatures (especially the Ewoks) adds a childish goofiness that seems to undermine the movie's tone.
Luke's final confrontation with the emperor and Vader are masterful and iconic.
