Review of Return of the Jedi (1983) by William F — 03 Aug 2016
When I was younger, I used to see this as my second favourite in the original Star Wars trilogy. But now, looking back, I do notice a bit more of the flaws that I hadn't noticed before. While the film is still visually amazing and a very fun ride, it does suffer from one single problem, and that being that it's far too lengthy (a lot of sequences could have been shortened and that would've kept the film's pacing much smoother).
But for what it is, it's still a very good film.
