Review of Return of the Jedi (1983) by Henry M — 18 Aug 2016
In my opinion this is probably the worst film in the original trilogy, but given the prequels that definitely isn't the worst thing to be said about the Star Wars franchise. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love this movie, but at the same time I find the acting strangely bland (especially from Mark Hamill) and we see everything work out almost too conveniently for the good guys the entire time.
It's still fun, it's still classic, it's still Star Wars, it just lacks the edge and genuine excitement the first two movies delivered.
