I just re-watched this in anticipation of the new "Race to Witch Mountain." I think this sequel is even better than "Escape to Witch Mountain." It's amazing how much better the FX are just three years after the first film.
Director John Hough has also matured. Also, this one has Bette Davis and Christopher Lee! Amazing! I also love Alfred the goat. This is a classic.
