Review of Retreat (2011) by Paul D — 05 Apr 2012
I think Slant Magazine said it best when they said "Retreat's wheels are constantly spinning, but they're not always taking us anywhere". For a 90 minute movie, it sure seemed to take forever to end.
The cast do a great job at being convincing, but overall the script is just too dull. Not for everyone, but I guess there is a few good moments in it...but it has a disappointing ending in my opinion.
