Review of Resurrecting the Champ (2007) by Sol C — 16 Nov 2008

I barely remember this film going through the theaters but I am glad I bought this DVD. Jackson did a fantastic job, like he usually does when given the chance. (Just too bad he has appeared in some pretty bad movies too) Hartnett and the rest of the cast does a decent job too.

This is one of those rare "based on a true story" type movie - that actually seems to have followed the facts fairly closely. There are moments and plot elements that seem very contrived but this is an overall strong movie I will watch again.
