Hartnet's relationship with his son is the only saving grace of the film. That stuff is earnest, but the rest, including Jackson's awful dreads and makeup, is just too much.
You mean this reporter doesn't think this guy might be lying? You expect us to buy that? How green is he?
I don't know if Sam was shooting for an Oscar or not, but this is one of the weirdest performances ever.
