Review of Results (2015) by Walter A — 09 Mar 2016
Brilliant direction, script and acting. Kevin Corrigan is masterful in creating a character that is both an Oblomov archetype of existential malaise and an utterly believable lost soul. Cobie Smulders walks a knife edge between being admirably independent and a neurotic controlling bitch.
Giovanni Ribisi steals his scenes and Constance Zimmer's segment is a total crack up. This film probes the grey area where delusional thinking just begins to become pathological thinking. This film has the strong and flawless acting and gritty confrontation with human weakness that I admire in the Dogme 95 approach to movie making.
