Review of Restrepo (2010) by Mike J — 03 Mar 2011
I found Restrepo to be a truly compelling journey into the fog of war, as seen through the eyes of young men from Any-Town, USA. This documentary pulls no punches and takes you from the safety of your own home to a place on earth where life is never taken for granted and death walks shoulder to shoulder with you every second of every day.
The enemy engagements are harrowing, but the camaraderie between these young men is likening to that of which only men and women in armed conflict know. I highly recommend this documentary to every single person.
After watching this, you will look at soldiers differently for the rest of your life. Five Stars!
