Review of Restrepo (2010) by William M — 06 Dec 2010
Can't think of anything that they could have done better in this documentry following US Army soldiers in the Korengal valley. This is real life not BS diffucult for many to watch but should be mandatoryfor all to bring a level of understanding to what many soldiers face while they are in Afghanistan.
The title honors a fallen soldier (Restrepo) as they nickname an outpost they built in his honor. I don't want to reveal to much watch it and you will understand why. Films like this aren't made everyday they are watered down to be almost emotionless and entertaining, that is why this is a must watch.
The gratitude I have for the soldiers out there fighting forus cannot be expressed in words, all I can say is be safe and Thank you.
