Review of Restrepo (2010) by Nick G — 27 Jan 2011
A snapshot of a team of soldiers and how they get by while being deployed to fight in the Korengal Valley in Afghanistan. It's more from the soldier's perspective and it's gritty, raw film; this film doesn't try to make any political arguments or anything -- just a day in the life of a soldier who is fighting the enemy in no man's land.
Decent documentary but not exactly what I thought it would be.
