Good documentary about the experiences of a platoon in one of the most dangerous parts of Afghanistan. filmed by two journalists embedded with the platoon, this movie just objectively and simply shows the experiences of the soldiers, from the ways they pass time, to the panicked chaos of battle, to the tragedies of death.
it provided me with a firsthand and very visceral exposure to the experiences of these soldiers, something the news does not do. and showed the effects that these experiences have had on these soldiers still today.
