Review of Restrepo (2010) by Kaspars R — 30 Jan 2011
Well durrr, you've seen all this before. It humanizes those American soldiers you see in the news from time to time, and although a bunch of the footage here looked straight out of a war film, their fear, anxiety, concern, and in some cases negligence and ignorance is deeply moving especially because of how intimately they're shot in the heart of battle.
The IED scene in the beginning made me shit myself.
