Review of Restrepo (2010) by Brendon S — 13 Feb 2011
From a film making perspective, this achieves a lot with very real and disturbing images of war and really puts you in the place of a soldier in Afghanistan. From an entertainment perspective, this is interesting in parts and creates intrigue into what our soldiers go through, but really is not what I would call entertaining or enlightening as a documentary.
This movie simply adds to my thoughts of senseless war and the killing that is occurring (if this is the point of this film, then it works).
