Review of Restrepo (2010) by Darryl K — 03 Apr 2011
A beautiful film that not only shows us, first hand, the strain of war and battle, but also shows us the real moments in their lives, be it the soldiers dancing to a female hip-hop artist, or the soldiers crying over fallen comrades.
When you're watching, it's hard to realize that what you're seeing is real life. The smiles and frowns, the laughs and tears, the life and the death. It's real.
