Want to know what it's like to be embedded in the most dangerous place on earth? Restrepo won't tell you that! In stead you get to see young american soliders who set off to war (which at first seems more like a stag do) and find themselves dropped off into the middle of know where! They then fire their heavy machine guns into the Jungle (over and over again!) - did they ever hit anything - you never find that out!...and all for what reason? To get some of the locals elders to help them build a road (not sure if it was ever finished?). I understand its a documentary film but I've seen more from a SKY1 Ross Kemp series! In fact send Kemp over to Afghanistan's Korengal Valley and we'll find out more what's going on.
Didnt enjoy this film as much as I thought I would.
