Review of Restrepo (2010) by Oficial R — 05 Dec 2010

While I appreciate the attempt to get cameras into a warzone in order to document it AND managing to find some kind of narrative among everything, in the end, Restrepo is nothing more than a random mosaic of footage put together with very little coherence and sense. Perhaps they just didn't have enough footage, but there just isn't enough in this film to really get anything out of it.

Though it's nice to have events documented on film, I can't recommend this to anybody. It's a good attempt but a failed outing.
