Review of Restrepo (2010) by Tim G — 24 Feb 2011

A documentery filmed with a squad of amercan soldiers, in afghanistan and in particular the base restrepo they set up, a name in honour of a dead commrade killed on same mission, the film captures well the highs and lowes of warfare, the firefights which were many in this instance of there mission, and there time inbetween, we get to know the men well, not only in footage filmed but interviews with many of them put in throughout the doc, a doc that does well in what it wants to do.
