Review of Rest Stop: Don't Look Back (2008) by Bobby L — 22 Nov 2009
I love the first. Love it. It was the first DTDVD I saw that I really considered better than other theaterical films (I saw it shortly after seeing Zombie's first Halloween). Wiht that, this one surpasses it in all ways.
The acting is good, there is more gore, and alot of is in the day, so we see it better, the dynamic is interesting and the director makes everything very uneasy. A year after the first one ends, the brother and his friends go searching for the original couple.
I like this idea, alot, and it pays. We are privy to how the Driver works a bit better and the ending of the first comes to play in a major way.
