Great premise - poor realisation. I simply could not care less for any of the characters except perhaps the German occupier. There was supposed to be a sense of longing and loss and perhaps even inner conflict conveyed by the female lead I assume, but none of that came across, probably due rather poor acting.

Where was the husband, what was he doing, should she go with the handsome and sensitive German or stay...who cares...
