Review of Resident Evil: The Final Chapter (2016) by Russ G — 28 Jan 2017
It has been awhile since my last review but this movie compelled me back to the keyboard. First of all, it doesn't begin where Retribution left off. Its just Alice and Ada and the others are just gone.
But the biggest problem I had with this installment is that most of it is filmed in the dark and shaky cam is used to its most kinetic ability. Those two things combine for action sequences where you can't tell who is fighting who or what.
I liked the story line to complete the franchise but the cinematography ruined the film for me.
