This movie takes itself somewhat seriously, unlike the dumpster fire that was RE: Retribution. Action scenes are top notch, Alice's and Umbrella's motivations are revealed, and plot twists and call backs to earlier films in the series keep The Final Chapter moving at a brisk pace.
