Perhaps I just enjoy bad movies, I'm not sure, but I do know that I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. Non-stop action from start to finish and wrapping up the movies with a shocking ending (shocking to me anyways but maybe I'm just gullible).
But I plan on buying it when it comes out on DVD. In my opinion it was the best Resident Evil in the series. Based on the other reviews though, like I said, maybe I just have bad taste.
