Review of Resident Evil: The Final Chapter (2016) by Jarren N — 10 Jul 2017

Growing up, the Resident Evil films had always grabbed my attention with it horror/action take on it. Unknowingly that it was based off the video game franchise back then.

The film continues with its sixth installment and does it upgrade or change for the good. That answer to it would be a no. The script wasn't strong enough, the characters aren't developed. they just throw random people in there just so they have somebody to kill. Action sequence, I found okay but would enjoy it more if it was edited properly.

since most of the time, I couldn't see what exactly was happening. I get that the film is fast paces action type of movie, but it's a Lil too fast for my liking. Not hating the film but it could be so much better if it was all done right. Now knowing that Hollywood wants to remake it, I'm curious if as to hoping it more fresh and different than this franchise. 4.5/10 For me. Only recommend if people like to have fun watching zombies get their ass kick. Lol.
