Based on the hugely popular Resident Evil video game franchise, "Resident Evil: Extinction" picks up right where "Resident Evil: Apocalypse" left off. The undead have overrun the planet, forcing many survivors to flee underground or be consumed.
Milla Jovovich returns as the femme fatale Science experiment "Alice" as she prepares to take her fight straight to the doorstep of the Umbrella Corp. headquarters. Lots of action, plenty of eye candy, and not much else, overall, a scary, fun roller coaster ride, worth a rental.
