Review of Resident Evil: Degeneration (2008) by Andrew H — 28 Aug 2009
Reisdent Evil Degeneration is an amazing entry in the Resident Evil Film Universe. It appears that the events here take place 7 years after the events from Resident Evil 2 (videogame) and ignoring the events leading up to Resident Evil Extinction. Regardless taking a route with total CGI, this film delivers tons of infected human violence that Resident Evil fans love.
For those new to the Resident Evil Universe there is virtually zero knowledge needed to understand the movie. Everything is introduced gradually aand the main special agent characters are introduced too. I found it to be a great movie and everyone should end up supporting and cheering on Leon and Clare. They were just that good.
Graphically, the movie excellend on all levels. Several environments looked marvelous, the emphasis that the creators placed on showing the scope of the airport as well as the WilPharma research facility was good too. Character models looked excellent with great detail being given to the characters hair (enjoy counting those strands!) This movie must be enjoyed in Blu-Ray!!!!
