Review of Resident Evil: Degeneration (2008) by Sven N — 14 Oct 2012

"Resident Evil: Degeneration" is a film that die-hard fans of the franchise are able to praise. Using the characters of Resident Evil 2, possibly the most highly ranked Resident Evil game; the film would give the fan a nostalgic feeling when watching it, especially now there is a film that ties in with the game. However not all die-hard fans may passively accept it, due to the lack of plot and lack of zombies, it may even leave you asking more questions, and the most obvious question would be "Why?" Those whom are unfamiliar with the franchise then film is not for you as it would be too simplistic, illogical and boring.

There are some flaws, but there is always room for improvement and the film shows that Capcom has the ability to provide an appropriate video game based film and learning from their flaws could conduct more successfully ones in the future.
