It was well made for a video game movie. The fight scenes were really good but the story was a bit confusing. The whole story was made a bit redundant at the end and gave me a feeling of having wasted my time for trying to understand it. The CG looked really good in most parts but there were occasional times when you could see that small details were rushed over. The B.O.W.s seemed to come out of nowhere though. It wasn't explained at all how the Lickers came. They were being controlled telepathically by a host who had a Plaga (see Resi 4) inhabiting him, but Lickers were genetically engineered by directly injecting the T-virus into humans; no Plaga parasite in them. So how could the host control them? If they were created by Plaga (which would be a bit of a stretch) or were created with the T-virus and THEN injected with the Plaga, it might make sense but this was not explained at all. Also, the number of Lickers was concerning. Every time you think that they were all eradicated, a few dozen more just pop up from somewhere. This was very strange and made very apparent in the final fight against the Tyrants. The audience could clearly see that there were a limited amount of lickers and counted them down as they were all inevitably squashed. You think they all died, but no, another twenty or so jump out of walls. That's it for my personal rant about that...

The lip sync was very iffy. The voice would make clear sounds that you would expect the person speaking to have his/her mouth open widely, but their mouths moved as if they were mumbling. The voice acting itself was good and actually sounded like the actors were trapped in that situation.

First person scenes were very tense but had no actual scare at the end of them but they still looked cool and were done good (head bobbing was perfect).

While this movie had a few plot holes and needed a bit more graphical polish, it was still very entertaining to watch. Action scenes were heart pumping, the silent corridors creepy and the monsters disturbing. I would recommend this movie to friends.
