Unlike the first movie, Resident Evil Apocalypse threw away an original script in lieu of trying to follow the storyline of Resident Evil 3. The result is one of the most insulting video game adaptations I have seen so far.
Characters were poorly cast, their personalities were thrown to the wayside, and any semblance of the original plot was lost beyond the appearance and names of the characters and locales.
