Review of Resident Evil: Apocalypse (2004) by Edgar C — 16 Jun 2010

So we all agree this is the point where everything started to go wrong. Nemesis was buttf#cked in a brutal manner; videogame fans wanted to burn movie theatres down, and so did I. Even the action-oriented cheesiness during the first half was completely devastated by the preposterous, horribly edited final fight scene between Nemesis (NEMESIS!) and a CGI-controlled Jovovich. At least the ending left exciting room for the third installment, but ughhh... We'll get to that in my brief comment on Extinction.
