Review of Resident Evil: Afterlife (2010) by Michael V — 14 Nov 2011

I see a lot of love and hate for this movie. But there really isn't a whole lot to say about this movie. If you enjoyed the previous installments then you'll like this one as well since it gives you more of the same stylized horror violence and gore that you've come to expect.

The storyline isn't anything speical and doesn't really push it along any further except for bringing a few new characters to light. But the action is damn fun even if you watch it in 2D it still looks great.

Espeically the shotguns that fires quarters. My one pet peeve was the music. It really just didn't fit for me. It would have worked better if they'd go back and get Marilyn Manson to score it or someone else in that genre of music like Trent Reznor or Maynard.

But loved it. Not the best in the series (3rd) not the worst (2nd). But fun bloody zombie killin time it is.
