UTTERLY TERRIBLE!

And one of the worst adaptations of a game franchise onto the bigscreen!

This might be a bit of a far stretch of an example, but these kind of movies makes me wonder why a franchise like the spin-off "american pie" movies gets pinned down as a direct dvd release (with all due respect, don't get me wrong - those movies weren't that great either).

*LONG DRAWN OUT SIGH*.

I barely remember anything from this movie because most of the time whenever there was any action going on, it was in slowmotion! Yes that does sometimes add up to a level of awesomness like we saw in the first movie "The Matrix", but this is just ludicrous!

Generic actors acting out as generic characters.

And dear god! What are those people even trying to accomplish with these movies? Especially the last two? And a fifth one is on its way.

(Yeah! I'm not kidding!).

This is the actual question we gotta ask our selfs when punishing our senses with these movies - Why would you watch a movie if you already from the beginning are aware of that it will end up as a shitty experience?

Well I'm gonna tell you !

Because some of us, SOME OF US! hoped that they would realize this brilliant game franchise (most of it) for us to bring home into our living rooms and play the damn movie, to get our brilliant taste in inventional gaming plots confirmed.

And since every R.E game seems to progress wildly differently in each instalment, we put our expectations and hopes up, WAAAY too high before we even realize what a crap filled freakshow we are about to witness!

Yes I get a bit ahead of my self when I talk about such movies, because (god forbid) this horrible adaptation of a game series, is unfortunately not the first of its kind. And I'm not just talking about Resident Evil and its horrid sequels, No...

The best way to endure such a movie as such, would be to remind your self of this - It's not an Uwe Boll movie.

Never heard of him? Well don't look into it. You'll regret it.

Final Verdict.

This movie failed to portrait one of the greatest antagonists of the game series, didn't even bother to stay true to the games, gave up to the 3D peer pressure money machine, brought up random enemies to infiltrate the comfort zones of the zombie apocalypse survivors, Desperately trying to cover up the lack of creative writing.

This movie will fail to scare Or impress even the most simple minded humans.

All though, it does deserve a full star* for being better than Uwe Bolls infamous "game to movie" adaptations.
